Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Ali Shirazi made the remarks late Friday while addressing a gathering of people in Dashtestan, Bushehr province, praising God for living in an era in which the Iranian nation has exposed the true face of the world's wicked and hegemonic powers by raising the banner of resistance and struggle.
He said Imam Khomeini (may God bless his soul) transformed the Iranian nation into a powerful, courageous, self-sacrificing, martyrdom-seeking and steadfast people, demonstrating that if a system relies on its people, no power can destabilize it.
Shirazi added that the presence of the Iranian nation — especially the honorable and ever-resilient people of the south — alongside the country's armed forces in defending the homeland has given them double morale, hope and strength, and that relying on the support of the people and under the shadow of Velayat-e Faqih, they stand firm in defending the country and confronting threats, creating epics.
Emphasizing the necessity of the people's continued presence in the arenas in obedience to the dear Leader, Shirazi stated that today the people, officials and armed forces, with cohesion and solidarity, defend and will continue to defend the independence, security and ideals of the Islamic Revolution, fear no threats, and have become a model for all countries, especially Muslims worldwide.
The head of the Political-Ideological Organization of Iran's Law Enforcement Command emphasized renewing allegiance to Imam Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei and standing by their covenant, saying: "On behalf of the country's police command, I salute the dear and striving people of Dashtestan, and firmly believe that the highest honor for us is to sacrifice our lives for the Iranian nation."
